MUSTARD FOR MUSTARD PEOPLE

OUR FAMILY HAS MADE STONE-GROUND MUSTARD FOR FLAVOR LOVERS THE MAINE WAY SINCE 1900: SIMPLE, RELIABLE, AND STUBBORNLY OLD SCHOOL. YOU HAVEN'T TASTED MUSTARD UNTIL YOU'VE TRIED RAYE'S.

Romancing The Stones

Our family has used the same four granite stones to cold grind mustard for 125 years. It’s not every day historic artifacts also make the best mustard around, so we made a museum around them. We’ve even thought about listing them as an ingredient. That’s how much of a difference our traditional stone-ground process makes.

Multi-column

"Of all the mustards in our lineup, Raye’s Down East Schooner was the one that looked and tasted the most homemade. We found it to be very bright, with a strong, fresh turmeric flavor."

"Raye's Mustard Mill in Eastport, Maine, hit a home run with this ‘grown-up’ winner. Unlike its too-vinegary competitors, Raye's uses an old-school cold-grinding technique that preserves the intense flavor."

"A Favorite Source for one of my favorite condiments has long been Raye’s Mustard in Eastport."

"Raye’s Fall Harvest Mustard is clean pure heat and a wonderful, nearly luxuriant texture punctuated by tiny mustard seeds and bits of tart cranberries."
